It is the year 2243, you are a disposable contractor working for Charles Industries during a very dark time period for the human-race. Upon signing the initiation contract, you will be assigned to the Salvage Division where you will collect and sell items from derelict asteroids and space stations.
Charles Co. is a hard-core desolate roguelite about exploring abandoned settlements in space that have been lost to time.
Collect items and sell them at your ship terminal to earn bitz.

Being in the dark lowers your sanity and makes you vulnerable to entities that roam in the dark. Staying in the light allows you to calm your mind and stay safe while your limited suitlight is recharging.
Selling items is crucial to unlocking new upgrades and buying new equipment to help you.
// DIFFERENT EVERYTIME
Moons and asteroids are the main locations you will be exploring in the salvage division career. These places will have different amounts of valuables, different traps will be enabled or disabled each time and monsters will roam to different places each visit.
Visit moons and asteroids to obtain loot. Don't die!

During your career you will come across many anomalous entities that lurk in the dark. Pay attention to your EMF reader meter on your heads-up display.
