awesome short rpg game with good story and amazing graphics
a pretty cool little game that's just in time for halloween!) it has great visuals, a noise filter that adds all the more to the atmosphere and can be easily turned off and on, the pause menu has an illustration of Jake that changes with more items you find in preparation for the party - and not just that, Jake's map sprite changes, too, along with the amount of items that you find - that's a really cool detail!) also, the way to obtain the extended ending through the search of candy scattered around Jake's house is great and encourages the players to explore just a little more to get invested in the game's quite genious, albeit little, story - won't spoil anything here!) and, on a final note, Dreamare, your illustrations, tilesets, and menu images look amazing - i especially love the artstyle that you have going for Jake's portraits and the menu images!)
with all that said, i can safely say that Jake's Halloween Night is a great game that fits the Halloween theme perfectly!) DreamareDev, you did a great job, and i wish only best of luck, nerves of steel and lots on inspiration in your future endeavors!) take care!
Hey, your game sounds awesome! I’d recommend doing the following to turn it into a bigger success on Game Jolt!

This is a very short RPG maker game, should last you around 10 to 15 minutes depending on how you play the game. But overall this is a really good short game, I didn't encounter any bugs, and the plot twist was cool. It is kinda obvious to me at least but it was still cool, soundtrack is good. The graphics are nice, and everything just works.
Good job

FAQ
I am streaming/recording and there is no sound.
If you are streaming with OBS, OBS sometimes deletes the audio from RPGMaker games. You have to try different ways of capturing the game (I believe it will only work if you capture as Window and not as Game).
Does the game contain jump scares?
No jump scares.
