There is legit no reason to make this, Peyton already made a NBD 2015 remake that was good.
Plus had this version of NBD came out stuff would most definitely have changed (IE; Character designs, mechanics, etc)

Story:
You, Jake Smith, after being on Tresure Island for a Week, started having nightmares. At First, you were just. There, in a Prison like Room, but as the Nights went on, Nightmarish Version of those, Thing, from your Time on the Island, along with some New ones.
It all made scene now, the Prison was Tresure Island, the Nightmarish Costumes were behaving Similarly, yet Different, to how you Remembered.
But... one question remains...
The Nightmare... Is it Real?
