Scortalo in the 316th Dimension

Version: 0.1.1over 2 years ago

Scortalo, a young Glitchrean, explores the world of a dimension he helped to save.

Inspired by works such as Yume Nikki, Sluggish Morss, and The Twilight Zone, help Scortalo, (or Frishka, if you for some reason prefer, even though I don't have special dialogue for her yet if you try playing as her,) navigate through a post-apocalyptic world that has been rebuilding itself after the apocalypse. With your "trusty" steed, Frishka, Scortalo will discover secrets of the dimension, and of his friends.

Now, this game does get dark. It touches topics that hit close to home for me. Read the warnings and decide if you want to delve into this. Also, while this is not a straight up horror game, I really don't plan it to be, I still wanted to label it as such because of the topics explored, of torture, death, suicide, depression, anxiety, PTSD, sadly rape, murder, war, mafia, and apocalypse.

I'm going to try to have humorous moments, because I don't want to be all down. Yeah, there are dark topics, but there's stuff that I listed that I refuse to depict visually, nor even describe in text. Yes, Scortalo went through horrible stuff, but even I have a pretty big limit of comfort describing it. Like, it's mentioned in the game, but I will not describe it or show it in the game, if that makes sense. At least the really, really disturbing stuff.

You know how art can help the artist cope with their life. Yeah, this is what this is for me.

Alright, note to self. Never name a file with an áççënt, unless you really want to break your RPG Maker 2003 game. I now understand want happened, and I will hopefully never do that again.

Known bugs. Files that have accents must be fixed. Every Álka files needs the name fixed, and the song with Joselyn Henéjo's name on it needs to fix the last name. Also, I am aware of the BGMs not playing right. I'll have to fix those somehow.

So far, every map that has been made currently has their entrances and exits set up, so that's good. So, now it's time to create a crap ton of music tracks, and then other events.

Here's a roadmap I'm working with.

Then again, I might make the map for all of those previously mentioned locations, except for Vicoroy. I don't have anything for that yet. Anyway, now, seriously, back to work.
