The story starts off with the main boss blows up the top of a volcano that rains fire down on Jack's Parent's house causing a huge fire (and their deaths) during this jack is told to go find naomi in a village on a new land, once there jack is greeted with vicious beasts scattered across the land along with 4 elemental crystals hidden in 4 caverns, up north of the local town is a castle that has been raided by bandits and the king has been possessed by the dark forces of the world, forced to battle him, jack must break the curse before setting out to find party members to aid him in his quest for the crystals, once jack has the crystals he will soon be faced with his worst nightmare.
