Not that I'm any great authority, but people have asked me for advice on the subject before and from my limited amount of experience as a creative professional, one thing I have finally learned is that the single most important part of creative work is learning to take criticism gracefully, without ego; to synthesize the usable information regardless of the tone, and to be grateful for any and all feedback, especially the stuff that's maybe the hardest to hear.
From your good-natured and sincere responses to the matter-of-fact comments below, it's obvious you have already mastered something I often struggle with. That's really awesome, and I really respect that. :D
You should actually use some assets you made yourself, not graphics/charsets/tilesets/whatever from the RTP. It looks generic, and doesn't look interesting.
You should put up some actual screenshots from it. If its an RPG maker game I doubt that's a real image from the game.
