Everyone knows what really counts in a work place. It's all a game. A game of who said what to whom. A game of favouritism, backbiting and stilted small talk. A game of reputations. Welcome to The Water Cooler.
The Water Cooler is my fourth small game. It is a very basic simulation of the politics and dynamics in a workplace, with some rogue-like elements thrown into the mix.
Most of the game is controlled with the mouse. However, the following keyboard commands are worth noting: 'H' shows the help file, 'R' resets the game and re-rolls the starting statistics, 'S' will display the statistics for each co-worker on the main screen. The game saves at exit and will pick up from the same point next time it is run. There is no sound.
