Just completed it. I'm impressed that you managed to get all that (minus the voices) done in 2 weeks. Loved the sarcastic writing and the weird plot. Great work!
Neat and mysterious game! I included it in part 5 of my Adventure Jam compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) https://youtu.be/AXNsTWlkBAc
For me- "what's in the safe" turned into "where are the wires!" I've played for the past two hours without finding them. Welp.
Either way it is a brilliant game with a really dismal atmosphere, the description of the apocalypse giving more questions than answers. I thought the character development was brilliant. I could picture Al even without ever seeing him! Great game- if only I could finish it eheh.
Friggin awesome game. Really enjoyed it. Snarky and very dark. Winny is a real poo.
Love the graphics! The whole "low-res realism" thing works beautifully.

What's In the Safe? - Talkie Version
After nearly a year of procrastination and picking my ass, I now present: The fully voiced "talkie" version of "What's In the Safe?"!
Featuring the voice of Amayirot Akago (youtube.com/amayirotakago) as the protagonist!
Also featuring a brand new intro sequence that took me all of 10 minutes to put in the game!
And AND AAAAND also featuring some nifty bug fixes, courtesy of Kevin Wallace and Ben Chandler.
And I corrected a spelling mistake.
Confetti time!

My submission for #AdventureJam 2015 is a short first-person point-and-click adventure of epic proportions. You are sent on a quest by an old partner-in-crime to retrieve a fabled, arcane artifact of immense power. But what happens? What's in that damn safe?
Features:
Ultra-low-res resolution with very few colors!
Astonishingly non-intuitive first-person navigation!
Pixel-hunting paradise for people who like to squint their eyes!
Mind-meltingly verbose exposition dialogue!
Unnervingly retro-ish monoaural soundtrack!
Cheesy sound effects stolen from the internet!
And featuring a mesmerizingly haunting main theme by Brian "Demodulated" Devins, host of the Square Waves FM podcast!
Sanity warnings: Language, violence, infuriating puzzle design and gameplay.
Enjoy your trip! Mwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!
