Devlog #03
Progress has been slower than expected due to a heavy workload from school, but here's an update—introducing the Cliffside Montclair, a brand-new map. A continuation of Town Montclair, where only a few residents call home, nestled among the towering trees. However, it's not just the people who live here...
In addition to this update, it will be enumerated down:
NEW Additions to the game:
Added a battle system with a proper aftermath!
Added 3 new shops! (recipes, weapon/armor, and accessories)
Added 4 new recipes for crafting!
Added a TON of NPCs you can talk to in the town!
Added 'Pouch'—opening it gives you something...!
Added party reactions if anyone of your party member dies!
Added a function where if one of your party member gets knocked out/dies, it's game over for you!
Added 1 lore book! "Castle Montclair" by @DevRousseau
Added 1 fan-made book! "The dearest Puppy" by @Trihyo
IMPROVED stuff to the game:
Improved crafting system, able to make potions! (And perhaps, weapons in the future?)
Improved SV battler enemies!
Urn, Chest, Pouch loots are now purely RNG!
Unimportant updates but oh well:
Almost everything is now interactable—each having their own unique dialogue! (even plants that rather look uninteresting have events on it...) hahahahahahahhahaha
I built 7 more buildings you can enter from the town!
Consuming some forageables can do something...!
