Hello!
As child always when i played games i always wished that i could play them with my brother and sister, and as we i slowly started to create an idea about game which i would love to play , then I started to experiment and from tutorials i was creating a game while playing it with them and we had a lot of fun , but then HDD broke and everything was lost… years later i decided to bring this project to life again , to a new and better life, and not to only keep it to us but i wanted to share it with everybody else.
So i started a game called 2Volution aka Duaalsus which is mostly about teamwork, you share everything with the friend you play with.
As you will start the game you will start in a world, filled with nature and a lot of cool randomly generated biomes and things. Your goal is to survive, as you travel through the lands with your friend you will start finding monsters,camps , structures and a lot of cool things, and you will also have a list of “missions” which you can just pick at any time and complete to gain experience points which you can use on one of the players. I also want to add bosses which you can only beat together and you need to make strategies to beat them (kind of puzzles).
Multiplayer (Online , not local)
For me it would be really hard to play with friends who live far away , so I decided to also add Online multiplayer where you enter the lobby, just select somebody who is searching for somebody to play with and then you can join his/her hosted game and play exactly the same way as you would play with your friend on one keyboard.
Inventory Engine
Inventory is something which works differently than in other games, both players will have their own inventory and crafting tab but they can access each other inventories if they are open, take and places stuff in them.
Task Engine
In 2Volution there will also be a huge list of tasks with description and reward for it, most of tasks will have unique reward which you can’t get from anywhere else, such as blade shards which you can use to make huge amount of different weapons , and also they will recieve stat points.
Experience points & Stats System
To start off both players will gain their experience on one point “bar” , from what both of players can use the points to upgrade their stats.
Stats:
Stavus - Makes you last longer without food and energy will come back faster.
Ateed - Makes Attack faster but also reduces energy faster.
Stratius - Bigger knockback and damage on enemys.
hypnance - Reduces knockback made by enemys and makes their hits smaller.
Union - With this skill the players will have an “ability” with what they can unite to one for limited time and be 3x stronger against enemies than before.
Current To-Do
Currently i’m starting to work on Online multiplayer and trying to make pathfinding perfect.
intelligent Enemies
As i have played many games which should be strategical,hard and fun , but i never find any of those ‘goodies’ inside those games , mostly i find just hordes of zombies trying to eat you alive and just moving towards you until they reach you or die… So , what about enemies who would actually do something? Who would start gearing up , increase their strength and group up to make strategical attacks against you if you are their enemy. Sometimes it just seems cruel that you HAVE to kill your enemies in games, so i want to add 2 things, first is your reputation in their view, you can be their friend or enemy and if you have attacked them and leave them alone, there is a possibility that they will escape not force you to kill them by keeping to attack you. There will be also possibility with some enemies that they will be merciful against you.
