A new game soon?! || Our Big Universe!


Hello again everyone!,
After a lot of months without updates, I have an announcement to do.
Mom, dad, I’m gay.

After months of several work, I’ll finally release in a few weeks a Demo of my new game called Mainasutto: I’m not Alone, probably someone of you actually know about it, or maybe not, anyway, why I’m so excited?. Well, that’s ‘cause it will be my first game on the Steam Greenlight and I’ll need your help to make it pass, and something more, REGEN and Mainasutto are part off the same universe and happens at the same time.

Did you remember the final screen of Regen?, well, that was a spoiler.

So, if you love Metroidvanias, Air-Rpgs or Cave Story Castlevanias, You’ll love this game.

Also, I’ll do a last update to REGEN soon, with an original soundtrack, custom controls, gamepad support, level editor, and a lot of new things, obviously after the Mainasutto Demo release, probably it’ll have a Greenlight campaing too, and an Android, HTML and Windows export too.

VERSION 1.0.0.2 || What you expected, but better!

I'm reworking the whole initial sequence reducing the text to minimum and making it more visual.

For now, have a few seconds of the new initial cutscene.

Last month I added a small label to the save animation, and also changed the in-game cursor so it can be more visible now!

I also learned how to zoom videos in my clip editor.

I added a very small frame-pause when player does critical hits and when an enemy dies.

Also added a hit vfx on player (I just noticed the player never had one)

After some feedback about "floaty" player movement, I've iterated by adding some dynamic fall recoil and making jumps stop more responsively.

Very inspired by Momodora RotM and Hollow Knight

NEW VERSION (v1.0.0.3) || Better than you expected

An error I made in the last builds was to add too much blur to a pixel art game (FOD filter, on-hit, foreground decorations, etc).

Those blurs are now optional in the settings.
