Almost Ready For Release!

It shouldn’t be too long till this crapfest of a game is finally released! I finished the main game and all it’s social links in about May, and since then I’ve been rewriting lots of dialogue to be generally more (what I consider, at least, so it’s probably not really that) funny, changing a lot of things up, adding in small details, finding bugs etc.

I’ve recently released some testing copies of the game to a few people and they’re currently working to weed out all remaining bugs, critique the game, and of course, point out my, quite frankly, atrocious spelling and grammar and help me fix it all (there’ll probably still be quite a lot of spelling and grammar errors in the final release regardless. Whoops.)

They’ve also been helping me balance the game’s difficulty, but let’s be real, that ain’t gonna happen because I’m bad at doing things.

But anyway, I just wanted to make this news update to tell everyone to sit tight, because PersoNO will be out veeerrryyy shortly!

(Disclaimer: If game isn’t out very shortly, then the testers being slow are to blame. Not me. I’m as innocent as Adachi, I swear.)

Here’s a screenshot of a part of the game because I felt this news post would have been empty without an image.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Why walk when you can jump?

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
