So we decided we wanted to go into some higher pixel count art. Sadly took a while to find an artist capable of doing good pixel art with nice animations while keeping that nice retro look. This took a huge hit to the project time wise. Thankfully we have found a pixel artist that can do exactly what we need.
Monster art, character art, and spell art. So guess what that means time to actually have the update come out.
Once they finish the walk, jump, fall, sword swing attacks the new character will be put in.

Started on the interior for the tavern. The tavern will be where you get quests and can gather information from NPC you made friends of. The tavern NPCs are just stock placeholder art for now and will be replaced later with more custom art.
While working on the first full Alpha build, I decided to start adding a little bit of NPC dialogue and other stuff to start making the game feel somewhat alive during the early alpha stages.
Working on some level design prototyping for some of the underground areas. Wanted to just share some things I am testing. Mainly having waterfalls as a background element for the caverns.
Work in progress knight attack. We are aiming to get out first three monsters made so you got a variety of monster to fight in the demo.
Alright after a crap ton of time we found a UI artist that can do pretty good. This is early Work in progress. We will release the next update when we get two menus screens done instead of waiting for all the UI to be completed. Look forward to it.
We wanted some of the walls in our game to be broken and crumbled. Not all of them being the same look so we also made tiles for broken walls where we can mix and match the tiles to make an unlimited amount of designs.
