BAD NEWS & A NEW JOURNEY STARTING


I recently updated my Unity Editor to version 6.0. The bad thing, however, is that the files in the G7 project are corrupted for some reason. I tried my best to find a way to fix these files, but it didn't work...

... ...
So, unfortunately, if these files can't be repaired, I think I'll probably have to start over...
However, I wanna emphasize that I'm not discouraged by this. Because there were some ideas that came to my mind during previous development, and these sudden ideas might make the game better. Also, I learned a lot about game development during this time. These things have benefited me a lot.

Today, I have recreated a project that is still called Granny 7. Even though the release time of this fan game seems far away now, as long as the game is still in development, I will continue to do it until the day of release.

Devlog-2

*Added the ability to drop items, but this function could be improved.

*Construction of Granny's house began not long ago.

(Granny's house may disappoint you because the materials of this house are all from Granny 1, 2 and 3.(including items)...)

-Add a new weapon, baseball bat

-Xbox controller now is support

-Arabic now is support

-AI and a few other details are optimized

1.Fixed a bug where dropped objects would clip through.

2.Some interactive functions have been optimized.

3.Granny can open closed and locked doors, but this feature needs to be improved.

Btw, I will probably update a Devlog every week.

1. The basic interaction is done and the shotgun is supported

2. Granny's animations have increased.

3.Added MouseSensitivity & GraphicsQuality

4. Some language translations were done. Such as zh-CHS, ru-RU etc.

1.Added an new enemy, Grandpa. (He can attack player through shotgun).

2.Added outline to items.

3.Added a new way for player to hide. (Locker)

4.Updated "player_died" animation for more realistic effects.

5.Added camera animation when shooting.
