dev-log for PA version 0.0.0 :


What has been done so far?

So i have added a decent world generator and i have gotten a really good day and night system i can save a world and "load" it over and over the inventory system needs more work and i haven't started on base building. i have added the ability to mine.

What issues are you having?

So i have been having issues with loading the newly generated world as the save system was the first thing i worked on the loading system is now outdated and cant function i also need to work on biom generation as the bioms are created on one another.

What are your plans?

I have planed to create many things for this game for example a bed a torch. I have planed on making a crafting system and base building system but right now i need focus on the world generation and world loading issue.

Next up

I have been running experiments on how Fractured Balance can improve it's feel and look by adding a background and foreground, and this here is the first draft of the experiment

A while ago, The idea of a tower or automated defence was suggested for Fractured Balance and now. This ghost fella exists. (now he isn't completely finished so he might not initially be in the Demo release, but he will be in the Demo and Full game)

I worked some more on the visual identity of Fractured Balance and here is the final result. I decided to go for a multi-layer parallax back and foreground Hollow Knight Style. Wishlist on Steam if you want to play this version: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3376920
