Explosions :D


For the explosions (destroy tanks and barrels or buildings) I wanted some nice explosions that feel dynamic.

For that purpose I designed some explosion and smoke trails as sprites and some core explosion animations.

Inside the code I then setup a few random trails with different angles and timings and have each change its altitude over time to go down.

Next up

Unit Movement part 2 Some basic unit movement has now been added. Right now units can be selected and moved accross the screen. Each unit has its own collision radius and makes sure that no other unit moves into the same position as another unit.

Crowd movement Today I managed to get a bunch of soldiers running. The special thing is that they do not intersect each other and nicely pay attention to each other as a group. Planning to add some sample vehicles soon as well

Placing enemies on the map This is more a smal update but I started placing enemies on the map so that I can start writing their Ai I might change the enemy color at a later time but for now they are green.

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
