FIGHTER UPDATE #1 Ver. 2: Challenger Approaching!!


Okay!! First of all I'd love to thank all my followers for being so cool and supportive! Here and on Twitter. I'm really grateful to have you guys behind me. It makes everything pretty cool, and it gives me a ton of inspiration!

Next up, what you're seeing attached to this article is the final, HD render for Mario's portraits in-game! Thanks to a friend of mine who's good with Blender I can now make high-res models myself, and I used it to make this render! Coupled with in-engine post-processing, voila!

Next up I've started working on some of Mario's particle effect prefabs, including ATTACK ARC TRACES and the like, the kind that follows behind a fast attack such as jabs. Using this system I shouldn't have any problem implementing sword trails for Link and the like!

Finally, I've made AnimCMD, my moveset scripting system, much more responsive and less laggy in play mode!~ I converted my loops and animation events to an actual event/delegate system that uses less overhead, so it's cool to see it work, honestly! I have 40 different commands either defined or implemented/working. I will no doubt find more and stuff, but I'm progressing pretty well :D
