This is the first draft of the status screen.
Don’t mind the right-half of the screen, that message only appears as the inventory has yet to be scripted and that message there now appears to prevent the game from crashing until that part is done.

The left half shows the stats. It will also contain the equipment in future versions.

There has been a lot of thinking though to reach the best approach and this seems to do. Also with the multiple resolution settings in mind (this shot was taken on a pretty low-re setting).

This setup seems pretty robuust, and also easy to manage for further production. ;)
