FNaF 2 VR: Version 1.1.0 ::: FINAL update


Now that the game has had a few days to cook, some people went ahead and shared some bugs they've encountered. To them, thank you again! Unfortunately, try as I may, I can't find all bugs. This will also hopefully be the last patch to the game I have to do, as I want to move my attention back to my original project, "BLOOD BANK" (name pending). Here's the changelog:

- Fixed an Issue with Balloon Boy's light blockage persisting after death if he was in the office

- Mangle can no longer enter the office on the same movement when they enter the vent opening

- Mangle will now appear on Cam 6

- Fixed a massive oversight in Golden Freddy's code

- Foxy will now wait until 1AM to become active on Custom Night challenges where his AI is set to 0

- Fixed the hallway light remaining in the "buffered" state after death if someone was moving in the hallway while you died

- The camera static will now only show for camera's you're looking at (Caused by Mangle)

- The mask will no longer register as worn if the cameras are on

- The cameras will no longer be able to be turned on if the mask is being worn

- You can no longer turn on the cameras while a Blackout is happening

- Adjusted the chances of some Easter Eggs

- Changed the way data clearing works

- Fixed the main menu's Night number defaulting to 1 upon game startup, even if you're further than night 1

- Fixed Freddy, Foxy, Bonnie & Toy Chica's eyeglow persisting when the hallway light is buffered

Thank you all for sticking with me the first few rough days. I encourage you all to *UNINSTALL* whatever current version you have, and redownload the game. This goes for both Quest and PCVR users, as all changes are universal between the two versions.

Next up

A major performance boost coming to HN2 is reducing the viewport size to half-resolution. This makes lower-end devices able to run Office 2, the most taxing scene, at over 60FPS consistently. This also, however, requires a manual redo of all UI elements.

Not HN2 related, really, but I did wanna post this neat screenshot I got whilst working on my personal project.

That fella right there uses an alternate version of the Fox/Rabbit movement code from Office 1. How neat!

We're TEN FOLLOWERS AWAY from 100 on Husk Nights 2! I've put more work into the Office 3 update, alongside squashing the plethora of bugs that comes with a game, admittedly, not well tested. Work also continues on the new project, called 'CAVES'. for now.

FNaF 2 VR ::: Patch 1.0.5 is live:

- Hit Toy Chica with a wrench until she finally worked

- Toy Freddy will move into the office when he should
