Devlog 2!

Another week another devlog!
I am unsure if I will keep devlogs weekly, but do expect one every Sunday/Monday for now!

I've added a new banner to the gamejolt page! Temporary one for now, but should do the job perfectly fine

OVERWORLD PROGRESS

Progress on the overworld has been going on smoothly, the map's overall design plan is becoming more clear and this includes the Flipside, albeit I will not talk about the latter in this devlog
-Liligear Lake's area has been implemented ingame (I will add a screenshot to the gamejolt page as soon as I got the player's lilipad coded in!).

I've also been working on the mines. I plan on having each areas of the mines always accessible from 2 or more entrances, so things like going from Fazbear Hills to Dusting Fields through mines possible and such travel methods might even be neccessary at some point in the game (wink)

On another note, I've been invited to a event to showcase fnaf fangames! A bit similar to Fangame Direct, albeit on a smaller scale.
I plan on participating and have a trailer revealed there, so if anyone is interested, feel free to follow @just_Martin for more information regarding the event. The event will also be using the #FazbearFanfest2025 hashtag

On that note, that's all I got for today. It's been a busy week for me IRL-wise, but I am pretty happy with the progress I've made on the design side of things, as it will accelerate the implementation process.

Old prototype showcase of a scrapped mechanic for my game!

I originally planned of doing some kind of "fake 3D" sequence in Name Pending, but had trouble with hitboxes (among others) so I scrapped the concept.

Might come back to it, but not right now

Pretty late, but here is the second part of Fazbear Hills of the game as promised Very early area still, been busy this week with the DBD collab plus SoTM, but yea, been working on fixing stuff, mainly movement (again)

Tilsets and collisions markers are done! So now we are ready to fully redo the map! Which is going to be pretty fast with tilesets now.

After that, the moment that everyone was waiting for: The combat!

Will reveal more about once we hit 100 followers

The Capitalism Update

-Added a proper fazcoins count as well as chests into the game! These chests should reappear after a while and their values are randomized! Also I am planning on making it so you can click on them to open them

Time for the Dusting Fields showcase! Aside from the first part of Fazbear Hills, Dusting Field is the most complete area as of yet! With a new BGM and some visual effects, this is probably my favorite part of the game I've made so far!

Small addition to my game.

Since I've added the ingame cursor, I just had to do it.

I might modify it to fit more in the game, perhaps 8bitifying it?

This time, the mines are planned to be a way to travel quickly rather than just a mazy dungeon of sorts. I am going to rework the code for the walls into tilesets, so it might take a while, but it will be worth it
