MAJOR CHANGE IN DIRECTION

A pretty big change in the game design/concept of my game, Liligear being finally fully done and the mapping start of a brand new area

So, what's the big change? Well here it is:
I want this game to focus quite a bit more on horror than a typical RPG.

Not only would this make the game... quite a bit more unique than a few FNaF World fangames (Turns out I wasnt the only one who thought the 2D Style was a good idea lmfao), but it would also compliment the story I want to tell much better than a normal, typical rpg.

Now, the bad news: Combat is going to be heavily less focused on. I still plan on having a combat system in the game (for now at least) but it will be more basic as the game will no longer focus on the likes of traditional RPGs.

Does that mean I need to redo the entire game?

Of course not, the game is early enough to allow such big design changes without any backtracking whatsoever. Even current game design as well as mechanics I've been planning need no or very little change to fit.

Liligear Lake is fully completed and mapped!

Now I am moving on to Blacktomb Graveyard. Or should I say... Blacktomb Forest. That's right! This is the first new area that I am announcing. As they say, the first of many ;)

Now I know, this sounds kind of boring "Just a forest inspired of Blacktomb Graveyard, who would have thunk it?" But I do plan on making it pretty cool while keeping the expected visuals ;)

And that is all folks!
I noticed we got above 50 followers, I am debating weither to do a small event to celebrate it, or if I should wait for 100 followers.
I never been someone familiar with social media, so I don't know how much these numbers actually means. I'm happy enough to have gotten more than 50 people, so I wanted to at least say, "Thank You" to all of you :>

See ya next week!

Here is the showcase for this week!

This time, the mines are planned to be a way to travel quickly rather than just a mazy dungeon of sorts. I am going to rework the code for the walls into tilesets, so it might take a while, but it will be worth it

Time for the Dusting Fields showcase! Aside from the first part of Fazbear Hills, Dusting Field is the most complete area as of yet! With a new BGM and some visual effects, this is probably my favorite part of the game I've made so far!

Small addition to my game.

Since I've added the ingame cursor, I just had to do it.

I might modify it to fit more in the game, perhaps 8bitifying it?

Happy 9th Year Anniversary Five Nights at Freddy's 2!

What was your favorite moment from Five Nights at Freddy's 2?

SPIRAL Reveal Teaser

Tilsets and collisions markers are done! So now we are ready to fully redo the map! Which is going to be pretty fast with tilesets now.

After that, the moment that everyone was waiting for: The combat!

Will reveal more about once we hit 100 followers

The #FazbearFanfest2025 event is live RIGHT NOW!

A small trailer for FNaF World: Name Pending™ will be showcased there ^^

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Old prototype showcase of a scrapped mechanic for my game!

I originally planned of doing some kind of "fake 3D" sequence in Name Pending, but had trouble with hitboxes (among others) so I scrapped the concept.

Might come back to it, but not right now
