For the life of me, I could not get a screenshot of the punching animation. But it exists. PC is a lefty. Not only is it good stage manners (never block the audience's view), but it's just good and more proper that way (I'm a southpaw boxer)

Got more animations for the player completed, but cannot figure out why some of them are not playing (looking at you, injured animation). The important thing is that the attack animations are working correctly. They deliver damage, bonus damage works, player defense is taken into account, all is well there. Also got the dedicated defense animation done

Doing so many battle tests was a little annoying, but then there was a part where one of the little bushes fell over. It caught me so off-guard, but it was just some little thing I had done recently. And the fact that it just cycled through correctly and did that made me inexplicably happy

I'm probably going to have to work on some enemy animations next. That will help to test out the defense, counterattack, and so on

Did some more work trying to fix up whatever went wrong and...yeah, let's just cut to the end where it didn't work

Started a new project, made some changes, derped around a little, made this cute little guy

Art day today. Did a little messing around with the cupboards and some furniture. Got a wine cellar, shower and tub and such. Probably redo appliances, spiff them up a bit Once I get all the major stuff in, then I'll go through and build the levels

With exception of some minor odds and ends, the home interior sheet is finished, which means I can start on all the levels. The next house (level 9) is an old farmhouse, the kind that had a bazillion rooms

yes... Spiritwell is still being worked on...

Oh no! Jelly blobs of doom!

They're only supposed to be the size of a mini-yux

But doesn't he look so much more prepared for adventure?

And yes, she is carrying a deer foot staff, modeled after one hanging in our house

we're back into track!

Working on battles. A little different than last time, aesthetically, but still the same basic idea

Battle State Machine is working Player chooses what to do, enemies choose what to do, and they even have variable rates of attack/defend/flee. Next step will be to actually start dealing damage

A little scene from Cyan, my horror RPG.

Doing some designing of the main village, mostly so I can get some connections in and get the next part of the opening cutscenes roughed in.
