Hello everybody! Unfortunately, the project will be canceled, or it will be moved to another engine (we have not decided on this yet), but regardless of our decision, we open the source code of the project , break this game! (even though she is so-so)

Next up

I made the acceleration mechanics, but it needs a lot of refinement, it accelerates even in the air. It will be a paradise for speedrunners. I'm almost done working on shooting enemies.

I added trampoline mechanics, but it works when the player jumps from the bottom up, but not vice versa.I am temporarily using third-party unsuitable cassettes on the subject.

I know it's been a long time since I've posted, I've been having some personal difficulties. I've moved all the core mechanics to godot. I'm not good at drawing and so the sprites are crap. I made them but hope to replace them soon.

I finally got back to work on the game. I integrated the jump and death animation (only the first one is fully implemented). I will have to completely rewrite the player code for normal compatibility between scripts. Well, in short, minus sleep :D

I found other lab cassettes on the Internet and integrated them into the game, how do you like it? I will use them temporarily until I improve my drawing skills.

I replaced the third-party sprites with my own, made the transition between levels, but there is a serious bug with the walls (the player can climb them)

After 11 months, I returned to development and here are the results:

-Now the character in the alpha build is a pumpkin!

-All basic mechanics are implemented at a normal level

-I have drawn a time graph (very bad)

I integrated my own assets, but they are too light (minus the eyes), so I will only do a couple of levels in the laboratory, the rest will be in the sewer or its equivalent

P.S LOL, the level looks like it's not a laboratory, but a mental hospital.

I finally made enemy shooting (albeit with bugs) and the simplest main menu (it is temporary) and now I will focus on more creative stages of the game, such as creating levels and graphics, even though I have a couple of mechanics to implement.

I made the mechanics of falling trap traps. I will also finish shooting the enemy soon. I will soon focus on creating levels for the game, otherwise I have a platformer set of mechanics and so on.
