This is the language I am currently using to re-create Star Story. I set it up myself in order to cope with some things that easily go wrong when you have to write tons and tons of Lua code.
The language was named after Neil Armstrong, and that is because Neil Armstrong is officially the first man on the moon, and Neil translates to Lua and lets the Lua interpreter handle the translated code. "Lua" means "moon" in Portuguese, and since Portuguese is the first language of those who created Lua, that's indeed no coincidence, Lua was named after the moon. The language moonscript, which is made by the same guy who brought you itch.io got its name because that language translates to Lua as well, but I personally hate the setup behind moonscript (with all due respect with those who like it) and Neil was made with a very different perspective.
The NIL programming language I used for Dyrt(dot)NET was Neil's predecessor.
The video is not really a tutorial but just a video showing a few core basics of Neil.
