I still have a lot to learn when it comes to code organization for a mechanics focused prototype like this! The structure is already a bit unwieldy even at this early stage. I may pivot to another prototype and come back to this later.
I added ports you can buy and sell resources to!
Instead of starting a big new project, I'll be prototyping some little game ideas! In my first prototype you play as a boat captain who trades resources with villages connected by canals. Currently I have some basic random map generation working!
I actually designed this game as a paper prototype first! I'm continuing to work on that version, and I think I may release it as a print and play game at some point.
I'm playing with a tiny game engine for mobile called 'Castle'. It's pretty fun! I made this little sword fighting game on it- https://s.castle.xyz/gTU25a1feUqE
This Satuday we invite to watch another #speedpainting of our artist Daniel Faiad.
How great is this scene of #Pecaminosa?
Runestones: from concept to in-game model🗿
In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
