I was inspired to create the game by one of the competitions found on itch.io However, I found out about it too late and I did not have time to implement it, but I am going to finish this game anyway and make it available on the Internet.

Since this will be my first game, I suppose I will release it for free, although I don't know how it will end, because such a free version of "Wordle" was sold for several million dollars😄

Here's the plan for this week.

I don't have an urgent deadline to finish the game anymore, so I gave myself a few days to familiarize myself with the rules of creating games in the selected engine. I will be doing this until Friday (February 4th) inclusive.

On Friday you will find out what I managed to implement from the plan.

Saturday is a screenshot day so you will see what I can do during this week.

I will announce the plan for the next week on Sunday. It will include, among others what did not work out and what will be continued next week.

I'm announcing a name contest for my game studio, because if I ever get to Steam ;) it will be needed. Write your suggestions in the comments and vote for individual names there. I will also come up with something to start with.

So, until Wednesday, when I'll announce what is most difficult for me. Maybe one of you will be able to help me. I will write about it on GameJolt.

After ca 4.5 hours of coding i have my first day plan acomplished.

On images You see screenshots of two scenes:

1. Loading screen

2. Menu

I had to learn a few new things, so it took so long.

You can follow my plan on Trello: https://bit.ly/3B5U4wr

I admit that I was supposed to write on Wednesday if I had problems and on Thursday if someone helped me (or not), and today is Friday... Read on.

Plan for the coming week. I had to get busy last week, so there was no news on MyFirstGame. Sorry.

I will post more such extensive entries in the "My First Game" community.

I want to show how you can systematize your time spent working on the game and communicating with others. Maybe this will inspire someone and serve as a model.

Hi.

My name is Tomir, i'm from Poland and i'm starting to create my first game. I don't count the game that i've written under dictando from some tutorial. This will be first game that i will project and program. It'll be a Tower Defence.

Since I have a backlog, I was also programming on #Saturday. The result is the main program that fits on one screen (as can be seen in the attached #screenshot).

As announced, I got acquainted with the rules of creating games in the selected engine, i.e. #AppGameKit Studio. So far, I've watched a few tutorials about him. Read the rest in article below.

My (first) game will be created in "AppGameKit Studio" engine (#AGKS) form theGameCreators. I could't find an AGK community here (on GameJolt), so I've created it. If You are creator in this engine too or will join community - You are welcome here :)
