Important Poll: Challengers Redux

(Now with a little tease... :3)

Okay, so I'll be blunt: the remnants of the old spaghetti code is doing spaghetti code things and has ultimately had made collecting new characters needlessly difficult in it's current state.

Given I'll have to likely redo the code from scratch again anyways, I might as well ask how people would prefer their Challenger fights to appear this time around.

---

Option 1: Keep the current setup, where the Challengers will have a chance to appear immediately following the current battle, without leaving the battle frame

Option 2: I sorta revert it back to the original XL format, where enemies are unique entities to be encountered roaming about

(Though this time, I'd try making them share the enemy encounters and they would hijack their spot just as the battle was about to start.)

Option 3: Go with original FNAF World format, where a Challenger fight immediately triggers after the party has left a battle, sending them right back in for the special fight

Option 4: Adopt the more recent trend in other FNAF World fangames, where the Challengers will appear somewhere on the map to encounter whenever you're ready for them

Option 5: I go a completely different route and make the "battle" into a different game type

(Maybe have it be a variant of the fishing minigame, or an AR-esque 1-on-1? idk, the idea just popped in my head while writing these other options down.)

Option 6: I make it that the characters can be randomly awarded from beating the soon-to-be-reinstated Minibosses

In a vein similar to what I did/will redo later with the TDR Challenger battles, though much easier to access

---

Oh, and I'm currently working on various battle issues I've made myself aware of. Definitely gonna take some time to address all of them, but I'll at least make it worth the wait with some new content mixed in.

(The unique 8-bit enemy skill is in development!)

New look, new direction.

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!

First signs of danger.

Still deciding if it's worth committing to a full rebuild, but I at least figured out a better way to handle the party swapping mechanic.

I might be having too much fun with this process...

Got a (mostly stable) demo ready for the occasion!

I know it's completely unintentional, but I swear this is the universe trying to convince me to dig my old handiwork out of retirement and do something with him.

Yeah, we're doing this.
