Hello all! We're back after that 2 month hiatus.
So lets stop wasting your time and get down the the nitty gritty of what we've been working on for "Project Blackbox" (Real title is still being worked on).
-Progress notes- (major stuff)
We've decided to go through with an identity shift for "Project Blackbox". Beforehand when we first started this rather short project we had always wanted to follow in the footsteps of Mediocre Mel's "Project Box" (as in we made this project to drive home that "Vibe" that Mediocre Mel had with the OG Project Box.) But after working on the game for some time We realized that wasn't possible with our current art style, how we made our art, and just the *feel* we tried to push originally with Project Blackbox.
"So what does this all mean?" Well... Project Blackbox won't be "Project Blackbox" for much longer. We're still toying with the new name of this project, along with the new graphics style (It's still pixel art don't worry!!!) We are picking out 3 names that *could* work depending on the direction we go for development wise (we won't say their names just yet until then.)
"How about progress on the actual game?" As mentioned above the game is getting a new graphics style to better match our new goal for this game. Almost all the assets made up till this point are getting reworked and/or thrown into the concept board for further consideration and fine tuning. The game code is still perfectly usable so until the new assets are made and the graphics and identity shift is fully done, no coding progress is going to happen.
