My game can be hard to capture in a quick post because it takes seeing a full match to really grasp.

So, if you can spare 51 seconds, I'd really appreciate your attention and feedback on my turn-based RPG about puzzlingly-shaped bugs! : )

🎨 I'm hosting the Insectile Design Contest!

🐛 Design a cute, puzzle-shaped bug!

🏆 One winner gets their design in the game and a free copy of Insectile on release!

📅 Deadline: July 25th

✅ Please read the full rules before entering! Good luck!

Trying out something new!

I have a long-form video coming out in about an hour. Give it a watch if you like creature collectors, challenge runs, or just hearing devs talk!

Madeline is the main protagonist of the mountain climbing platformer, Celeste. The game has been praised for its visuals, gameplay, and introspective narrative. The game's creator Maddy Thorson confirmed that Madeline is trans in 2020.

Okay, this one's silly:

An unsuspecting beach ball you can kick around... but it's actually a pill bug in disguise.

Dive into the cozy post-apocalyptic open world of Critter Cove!

Gentleman Rat Studios (@GR-Rob ) describe it as “a little bit Animal Crossing, a little bit Stardew Valley. Maybe even a little bit Windwaker, too."

It's Insect Week!

To celebrate, you should play the Insectile Demo!

It has:

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

Following demo feedback, I've been trying to design more large encounters.

The fireflies are a great example! Lots more space for big bugs!
