is this thing on? (update)


hello! it's been... 10 months since the last post for this engine and i wanted to say it's being brought back! yay!

while technically being "done", i noticed many things that could use some improvements. maaainly refactoring the encounter file organization because right now it is actually really bad and poorly documented! i wanna get to those and maybe some other stuff so i can truly be happy with this engine :-]

school's been out for summer for a month already, so i'm hoping this will be my summer project like it was for last year and learn as much as i did last time

progress is going really good! the fight system is currently in works

a full showcase of the features of my undertale love2d engine! (besides pausing and fullscreen/borders) i'm super happy with how it's going so far and it's so close to being done

bullet system!

redid bluesoul code ! now based off of the original game's blue soul code so it's accurate

cheeky bugfix just after releasing a new patch! bullets no longer lag behind you if you get hit without kr

not worth setting a new release for just go to the github if you so desire to check it out LOL

engine is almost finished

i just finished the dialogue and now all there is left is to make a basic attack system (which i already have some of that made) and some general polish and then i'll consider this engine complete!

hp bar is tweened now (elastic was just to test easing it'll look normal when i work out some other stuff and then release it)

github update! tweened hp bars are available, as well as a fix for enemy animation after taking damage. feel free to take a look!
