Happy weekend, adventurers!
I feel monthly progress updates might be too frequent, so might end up making these every 2 months (at least) instead, depending on how much I have to share at the time. But we shall see.
For now anyway, here's July's devlog!
Made lot of progress on building the map itself this month, and making new enemies to populate it with. Now nearing completion of this 3rd map of the game!
JUL 2023
Current Map: 3 of 11 (71/81 sectors done)
- Worked on the current map
- Added new modifier: DEATH TOLL - Drop a % of money on death
- Made 4 new enemies
- Made new NPCs and accompanying dialogue
- Made new traps/dangers
- Made much more decoration variety to fit map themes (screenshot)
- Made 1 new hat
- Made new, unique designs for various states of weapon upgrades
- Finally managed to balance 2 spells that were very underwhelming before
- Added ability to discard consumables, in case you want to make space
- And more!
Current progress estimate: 25%
