Happy Spring, adventurers!
It's been another 2 months, and while work is slower than some previous devlogs, it feels good to be making some progress again
I've mainly been starting work on the next map, which usually takes a while, getting things prepared for use in building it. Hopefully work will speed up by the time of the next devlog.
Here's a rough idea of some of what I've been up to these last 2 months anyway!
MAR-APR 2024
Current Map: 5 of 9 (7/?? sectors done)
- Added sound for enemy resisting an elemental attack
- Finished implementing NPCs for map 4 (and some others)
- Fully implemented a multi-map spanning side-quest
- Made a mini-boss
- Made main boss of map 4
- FINISHED MAP 4!
- Starting work on map 5
- Implemented a new inventory item
- Worked on new graphics for current map
- Made new decorative graphics for early map(s)
- Began implementing new modifier: Extra Enemies
- Implemented attack cooldown meter, to give a visual on that
- Implemented some new option settings
- Implemented some new puzzle elements for current map
Current progress estimate: 50%
Hopefully see you in another couple months or so for another devlog, if I don't slow down and decide that there's not enough progress to be worth posting about.
