Oof.

Hey.

Since I've been getting some questions about it, I figured I'd address some things regarding what's going on, and where things are going.

Is the game cancelled?

Technically no, but there isn't an option to set the game as "not in active development".

Why haven't there been any new updates recently?

Three words: broken battle system.

While the rest of the game is relatively stable, the battle system is extremely unreliable and will often just outright end a battle before it even begins.

There's currently two options for this: try and fix the current one, or build it from the ground up... again. Both require more time and effort than I've been able to pour in as one guy, and I do not want to even attempt salvaging the current one. (The enjoyment for work on it died about a year ago.)

So basically half of the core gameplay has to be remade.

When will the next update be released?

Once I can get the above issue sorted out, which is not going to be anytime soon.

Are you going to add (New Character)?

When I started this project, the only new FNaF content on the horizon was Sister Location and The Silver Eyes. There's so much new stuff, untapped old stuff, and stuff inbetween... I have to put a limit on myself so that I don't go insane from the potential work load.

As such, I'm rolling back the roster to a limited selection:

FNaF World, SL and FFPS.

(All other characters that have been added or were going to be added will be removed until further notice.)

That should hopefully cover the big questions people have been wondering about the game.

TL;DR, the game is broken, but not dead.

'Till next time.

Version 1.2.0 is here!

Can't wait to meet you!

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)

New look, new direction.

Me: Man, I really wanted to have something released for the 10th anniversary, but I have nothing ready for it!

Clickteam: *drops trailer for Five Laps at Freddy's*

Me: *Finally remember that I still have a janky ace up my sleeve*

Save file stuff (sidequests, maps and "autosaving") might currently be a troublesome mess, but at least development on OCN is going pretty smooth.

New project is having a fun, early outing.
