Progress on the crafting, but hit a snag which, at this point, my brain is just going in circles on how to fix I figured out a way that I can do the from-scratch crafting without taking up a ton of time and code.

Players will start with single-item crafting (pretty much entirely cooking). When you complete the tutorial, you get to two-item crafting. This will allow players to craft most items in the game, it might just take a couple extra steps (like the Zess Dynamite I posited yesterday). For those who go looking, however, they may find other improvements which will allow them to add up to three more slots for a total of five. Three slots will be enough to access all in-game items, but five will allow for from-scratch crafting without needing a bunch of steps in-between.

This game has gone through so many iterations it's not even funny anymore

FUNDRAISER LIVESTREAM #SaveJim

Lots of modeling the last few days. Got some houses made, remade some of my terrain blocks (rebuilt the harbor), and started on the NPC models. Also worked on the battle system and the follower system, now with 1/10th the code but 10x more efficient

Happy #WIPWednesday! Are you working on a game? Making some art? Practicing a song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!

Working on battles. A little different than last time, aesthetically, but still the same basic idea

With exception of some minor odds and ends, the home interior sheet is finished, which means I can start on all the levels. The next house (level 9) is an old farmhouse, the kind that had a bazillion rooms

Doing some designing of the main village, mostly so I can get some connections in and get the next part of the opening cutscenes roughed in.
