So... I'm (partly) back to working on things again!
I've been in idea purgatory for about 3 months making and modeling maps and ideas for a Fnaf fangame, however none of them really are "connected" only just ideas and assets of an ever changing story that doesn't correlate to one thing anymore. So I've thought of instead of one giant game, I make a bunch of these "mini games" that make up one game, Kind of like those "PS1 Horror game packs" where they're a bunch of games that don't at all connect to each other and put into a compilation sorta thing!
To get straight to the point, "how long will this take" Well.. not that long! (if I get my act together and actually model the animations needed that is), because I have almost all the characters modeled, and I've been working on the environments for a while (no props yet tho..) and coding shouldn't take that long given how much smoother my coding workflow is from the last time I've tried coding things for a Fangame (as well as me using Godot and not CTF now because CTF is just no) I can import my models directly and I can make both 2D and 3D games meaning no need to be 3D/2D exclusive!
So yeah I've got a few more things to work on then I'll update you all with a game page for it, So hold on!
(also enjoy one of the many many MANY characters I've modeled for this in the meantime)
Next up
So I've been thinking (well more like I've already decided for quite a while now) to change Cataclysm into something much Much bigger as a project. I'll make a new game page once I get enough gameplay and assets made, but rest assured this will be Big.
This image speaks a thousand words.
(small) UPDATE/State of game 10/7/20
UPDATE: I've decided to take my game a step further and made it into a Majora's Mask like game mixed with a lot of other things. Here's a wip snippit of the games battle system!
Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.
Path of Kami: The Evolution of the Lore
I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳
I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?
A house I've built a while ago. :)
It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.
It's built with painted Ebonstone.
