Some news about the ongoing work on future "Redemption of the Damned" PC survival.
Gamepad support was added a month ago.
One of novelties - a fire wall. For the gamers that like to go where developers don't want them to be :)

Next up

#UnrealEngine DevDiary: quest and dialogue systems. A small example of the fusion of the quest system and the dialogue system. Playback of soundtracks and specific animations is also provided, but you can't see it on the video. Just trust us :)

RoD. DevDiary. Combat mechanics:

- parry, causing stunning of the enemy;

- block with loss of stamina;

- fast hit with normal damage;

- heavy hit with increased damage and high consumption of stamina;

- one-handed ax that can be purchased in the village.

#RoD. DevDiary: dash (+bonus). The protagonist has been added mobility when fighting the enemy by means of a dash in the direction of movement. Award for the author of the most valuable commentary - Beta-key. Halloween is here :)

- significantly increased range;

- more damage due to the longer barrel length.

#survival DevDiary: Damage system.

It's one of the main issues when working out the mechanics of melee weapons.

The trick of the method shown in the video lies in the almost complete correspondence of the movement of the weapon to inflicting damage.
