Trees definitely add a bit more depth to the environment as well as verticality and additional possibilities for points of interest. Invest in trees for your game!

Last week's progress wasn't much. I've started to implement dual wielding weapons, worked on a bunch of assets and began my quests/dialogues systems. I hope to get my hands on the first introduction quest until the end of this week, and maybe cave assets.

Currently working on walking melee enemies AI. These fellas inhabit "The Great Well" and were somewhat normal in the past, but now they're greenish and angryish. Must be a flue.

Sneak peek at the new UI in Lobo: The Howl Within! Now featuring stylish location introductions when entering new areas + a work-in-progress minimap system to help you navigate the wilds. Built in Unreal Engine đź’»

Mandolin in my left hand, revolver in my right, whatcha gonna do about it.

It's been almost exactly a year since I canceled the last hn rtx. I like my progress Also by the way, I'm going on vacation for about a week. I'm completely shutting myself off from any art work, I need a break.

While I'm waiting for a feller of mine to finish his version of what "civillians" should look like for the game, I've decided to quickly put together a modular wooden hut. Whatcha think? (Yes, those are floating point lights, don't judge me)

The game's development went to a little bit of a halt in August and I'm just starting now to slowly lay my hands back on it. A few things has been done already, as well as preparation of a Steam Page (just for the sake of it). Here's a buncha wip shots

I use dense forest foliage as a natural boundary to guide player exploration. I created a custom PCG tool that lets me toggle between blockout and final meshes—super useful for jumping between layout and visual testing in gameplay.

Ocean of Mermaids gets almost frequent updates and seems that a stable demo/prologue is not that far off from being a thing.
