Sorta Important Poll: Preferred skill archetype

(And some general updates on what I'm doing.)

Alright, this poll is tied to Robert's replacement.

(Whenever I settle on who it'll be; I do have it narrowed down to a small assortment.)

Figured I'd see which (non-orange) skill type(s) people are looking for more of and use that as a bit of a guide to help narrow down my picks. Can't guarantee that the final character will line up with the winning results from this poll, but it'll at least give me a bit more focus overall.

So as a recap for those who have either been away awhile or are new here, the game is still down for heavy maintenance as I get the Battle system into a more stable and familiar state. So far I've done a pretty solid job reworking the turn order for both parties, rebalancing (almost) all of the original skills, and even providing some new utility to certain skills that makes some even more viable and some less overpowered.

I still have some skills for both Players and Enemies to update, as well as rebalancing the values of bytes, but it should be a pretty straightforward procedure once I hunker down and get into the zone.

Aside from the obvious process of replacing Robert mentioned above, I'm also considering updating Sparky with a much stronger kit. Poppers is for sure on the chopping block, Haunting might also get replaced with something.

There might be other stuff that'll need fixing and/or adding, but for now I'm just putting all my effort into the Battle system. Not quite sure when it'll be ready, but it's getting there.

I do appreciate you all for your patience while I sort out this mess. It'll hopefully be worth the wait when it's back up and running.

'Till next time!

New look, new direction.

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)

It's been a long time coming...

Guess I did a terrible job advertising the items most crucial to this recent update.

(At least it's good to know people can find all of the discs without any extra hints on my part.)

Save file stuff (sidequests, maps and "autosaving") might currently be a troublesome mess, but at least development on OCN is going pretty smooth.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Not quite the fix I've been talking about for the past few weeks, but it's at least progress.

No poll for today, though I figured a sneek peek at the next update's changelog is warranted.

Can't wait to meet you!

Version 1.2.0 is here!
