Tester feedback round 2 + launch plan.

After the first round of testing back in February resulted in restructuring the entire game from the ground up, I'm glad to say that testing went much better this time.

Feedback was very positive and my testers seemed to enjoy playing this time rather than just sitting there confused and bored.

I don't want to shoot myself in the foot by announcing a release date that I know I can't fulfill, but know that the game is entirely finished, and I just need to tweak minor things and make small balance patches before release. If I did have to estimate a release date, I'd say any time from next week to mid August.

I just want to make sure everything is extremely solid before launch so I don't have to make a bunch of first day patches.

I'll make another devlog when I have a concrete release date.

Soon.

Mary's Dating Simulator!

Newest draft of composite video shader fixes color issues (caused by different versions of GLSL clamping values differently) and uses real sampled CCD sensor thermal noise. See for yourself!

Literal bug-turned-feature. I am gonna make this happen if you try to move the window while there's no camera feed.

It just keeps getting better and better.

First stable version of new multi pass shader ported. Paired it with a lower resolution and era-appropriate aspect ratio for vibes. (and to make sure the shaders scale properly)

Also shows off some of the enhanced entry area.

Update 1.0.1 + Other news

Mary's Arcade v1.0.0 is now public. I hope you enjoy it!

Mary's Arcade - 3 DAYS UNTIL RELEASE

Localization efforts have been expanded to more areas of the game. Instead of just important buttons and labels on menus, I am now having as many elements as I can translated.
