Most Creative within the theme was tsal'ko by @Maken188295, with a score of 36\40!
Best Gameplay award goes to Dungeon Raiders by @aNobody101 with a rating of 29\40!
Best Story goes to MiraCle by @MissCrowfoot , with a score 31\40! (and also the definitely real "my personal favorite" award)
MiraCle also won the Best Visuals Award, with a score of 36\40!
Best Sound Design goes once again to Dungeon Raiders, with a score of 32\40, and the best screaming radishes! (although I think @CUPCAKEMANS might disagree)
You can play all 6 of the entries in this collection of games, here : https://gamejolt.com/playlist/rpg-maker-hub-jam-2024/624208
Unfortunately, one of our participants was unable to play Norman Jones due to personal time constraints, however, whether we make each missing score a default of 5, or do some math to base it off the percentage of points from the total that can be earned, Norman Jones easily wins! It's close even without compensating for the missing points in any way, so as such Norman Jones has been crowned the official winner of the competition. However, for the above awards, such as Most Creative, Best Gameplay, ect, the raw score values have been used instead.
I also want to add that while not every mod enjoyed every game, every game was thoroughly enjoyed by more than one member of the team, and I am very glad I have gotten to play all but one of them, which, out of politeness I will not name. ^.^
Thankyou all for participating, I'd consider this jam a huge success... and one final note:
Please be sure to click "include RTP" when you export your package so that people don't have to download other files from the internet to play your game. 3 or 4 of you missed that step
I'm sure you'll remember next time, and ofc, you are now more than free to update your package as you see fit.
All that's left is the overall score of each of the games. So that'll be all from me for now, and as always, remember to keep creating, and follow your heart!
Each game was rated 1-10 by each of the 4 moderators, being @NinjaChicle @ninesoulssea @CUPCAKEMANS and myself. This compiles to a total possible score of 40 for each category, and 200 overall.
(note, Creativity refers to creativity within the concept of Deception, being the theme of the jam)
