Koppy Kopsocks (Demo)

THE KOPPY KOPSOCKS FINAL DEMO IS DONE DEVELOPMENT!

I'll still have to do some stuff before releasing it (last minute bug fixing, updating the game pages... etc), but most of it is done! I also just finished doing the Portuguese translation of it as well

Translation?

Yeah! The game will be avaliable in English and Portuguese! (As in different files because of the GameBoy limitations, so if you'd need to swap languages later, you'd have to download the game again in that language you want, I'm not sure if the save files are compatible with both versions.)

All text on the game is translated (with the exception of the game's title and the usernames in credits)

Portuguese (being my native) and english are the only languages I can speak, so these will be the only languages avaliable for the game (for now).

More stuff yet to be worked on

Executable version

Aside from translations, the game will also be avaliable as an executable file (meaning that you'll be able to run it without the need of an emulator). I might even add some additional stuff if I manage to know more about the tool (I'll be using GodotBoy to do this).

Game pages

The game pages are pretty outdated now, so I'll have to work on those too.

I'll also be releasing the Demo to Newgrounds, this way I can collect more feedback (and get brutally destroyed by the reviews there lol)

Tutorial level?

Something that I forgot to consider is a possible tutorial level in the game, since the jump mechanic is something that is only explained on the descriptions from the game page. I could make a game manual and attach it to the files, but there will definetly be some people not reading those.

New trailer!

I'll also make a new trailer for this final Demo.

And that's pretty much it! After this, I'll start working on the full game, and hopefully not take too long working on it lol

The Demo will still receive some updates after it's done.

Something I drew for an art challenge on DeviantArt!

We were supposed to follow a tutorial of drawing a floating candle, and here's my take on it.

The final Demo trailer, but in vertical!

Doing anything just to get more views lol Marketing trully is as difficult as everyone says... (the game isn't even finished yet so I still got time!)

Mickal the red fox!

Developing further on his redesign by pushing shape language even more.

I'm also trying to decide if he should have the overalls or just a shirt (the overalls originally came from other red fox character also from this project)

Koppy went through many changes, every look with its own personality!

It all started with a prototype Scratch game in 2022, now we're in 2025 with a Gameboy game on its Beta/Demo phase!

Read article to know more about every design and each prototype!

My first ever adoptable!

Someone gifted me 1 month of a DeviantArt membership that allows you to sell art, and that's exactly what I'll try to do now!

I have no prior experience at all (or have even sold anything in my life), but it's worth trying!

Art that I made for my game during the #Devruary challenge!

I didn't got to post these directly to the game page, so here's a post with most of them there!

Sr. Steam Scales

More wacky dragons on the way!

Tutorial level! W.I.P

The controls are only explained on the game's description, and there might be people who won't read it, so I'm adding a tutorial level in-game just in case.

I want to avoid using dialogue in this game, so hopefully this is enough lol

HAPPY NEW YEAR #2025!!!

This was for sure a year huh... It quite went pretty fast honestly, but still memorable in many ways!

I didn't got to do what I wanted in 2024: Finishing my dream games, but maybe this year!

Feliz ano novo! (GMT +0/Lisbon timezone)

Album cover art concepts for the game's music!

Still trying to decide which one I should go with (the text placement is 10x harder than actually drawing the art lol), I'll be posting the music on YouTube and then on the game page as well.
