Huge things are happening for this game and I'm excited to tease you a little bit with it!
Skilling overhaul inspired by the Sphere Grid system in Final Fantasy X, except it uses Polaroid instant film photos!
"It's light out today. It helps me move through this lonely place a little easier." Updated combat to allow allies to physically run up to enemies instead of hopping to them, closer to how Chrono Trigger behaved. #pixelart #screenshotsaturday #rpg

Whee! Working on new victory poses. I've increased the amount of frames of these animations from a simple 2-frame one to a 16-frame one with much more personality! Idyll and Sonnet get sports-themed ones. #pixelart

Day 14 stuff! My daily streak on Bsky is going strong!
I showcased my new battle camera a little more! And I gave enemies some new poses. I still have to update the party's sprites...
Bun-believable! 5th party member, Sirius the bunny, can summon his Bun-blebee Bot wherever they need to fight! You even mix and match parts from (so far) up to 4 different body types, legs, and weapon arms--that's 64 different configurations!
This is not a story of triumph.
This is a story of defiance, when the world demands you kneel.
Will you submit to your knees? Or fight- against all odds?
I AM ON DAY 8. I post daily in other places of my daily gamedev series, but I will post some highlights here like this wonderful fixing of the title screen for the newest version!
Heavily inspired by Kingdom Hearts 2.
