Update ver. 05-02-2023


Wow, I can't believe it.

Sorry guys, I had been in a depressive and creative slump this past week or so, but I'm back now!

I worked on many things, including packaging 12 fighter models and their sounds and backed them up to import them easily in the future! Out of these fighters, Link, Falcon and Kirby are there.

Among the things done, I put eye animations on all currently done animations, and as the second shot implies, YES. I have ground teching implemented! When knockback is done, ceiling and wall teching will be a breeze. Also for edge tumbling, I gave the fighter a SMALL push backward, because otherwise it was possible to clip through walls when using your forward getup animation.

The white block you see Mario hanging from? It's special. It's a TEST SNOW TERRAIN. What does it do? It's being used to implement my Footstep command! What this does, is that it dynamically changes the sound effect of the footsteps, including landing sfx, depending on terrain type!! So you're gonna have things like soil, grass, sand, metal, etc! And it's also in charge of changing footstep sfx to Metal sfx when in that status!

Next up, I did some extensive playtesting while depressed, and did notice a few small bugs that need fixing, thankfully they're easy ones :)

Finally, I am nearing 300 follows on the project! I wanna say thanks, you guys have been awesome! I may work slow due to being alone, but it's because I know I alone can realize this particular vision. Not in a cocky way, but if I had a team? a) I'd risk them leaking stuff, and b) I'm really bad at explaining things, so there'd be communication issues there. XD
