Currently, I've been working with people to develop and create assets to use in Altered Reality.
We're reaching to begin development once again in October. As of right now, we're just getting prepared. We're going to be as transparent as possible with this post.
Money is key to the development of Altered Reality, as it's a large project with a-lot to take on.
We've been able to get a few investments from donations & supporters. So money isn't necessarily the problem at the moment.
My plan is to re-learn as much as I can about GML over the next few months leading up to October.
The reason I say 're-learn' is because I took a really long break and I'm extremely intimidated and rusty when it comes to programming in GML.
Making games is scary, especially large ones.
I've realized exactly how much I'm taking on, and I'm likely going to hire other programmers to help me out with the game. Learning programming isn't really the problem, it's just the amount of learning I'll have to do to even get Part 1 out- So, it's a matter of not being able to do everything I wanted to with Altered Reality, which is scary.
