V0.1.2 is released! with it have come some small bug fixes. information in article


In V0.1.2 we have introduced a couple of changes. the most noticeable being the new HUD in game. this is still being worked on and is subject to change. also we have disabled most options in the options menu as they were causing trouble as the game would automatically set users to the lowest settings as soon as they clicked on the options button.

another highly noticeable improvement is the improved movement script. now this inst perfect yet but i feel it is much better than what we had.

Next up

I'm in the process of building V0.1.2 of The Light Within. hopefully this will be the last build before public release. really the only important things that need to be done are adding more levels and finishing the story.

I'm currently working on an in game UI containing Your current time and your best time. hopefully when the game is all done I can add a summary of your total time taken to speed run as well as a global best score for people to challenge themselves on.

The Light Within V0.1.1 is on the way. I'm just held up with a lighting glitch at the moment. after that I've just gotta fix the funky movement and add in a pause menu and you can have your update. after 0.1.1 if there aren't many problems expect v1.0! :)

spent my night putting together the start of a proof of concept for a Low Poly Open World Exploration. this is kinda my dream game and thats the reason why im making it. but its a big project and im not too experienced so i guess we'll see what happens

I've been working on this one for almost a week now. its a puzzle-platformer but there is no light but a glow coming from the player and you have to find your way through levels and find out where all the light in the world went. https://gamejolt.com/games/the-light-within/472423
