V1.2 is out! Finally!

Lots of cool changes, and I shifted to UE4.27. Have fun with the bonus map, AI changes and new tasks, campaign updates, and more!


This is so fun to develop! V1.3 already has plans like custom gamemodes and more. Here are some changes:

AI Changes:

-Neighbor now blocks windows

-Chases when seeing thrown items

-Rearranges, bathes, toasts

-Turns off noisemakers (TV, Radio, Sound System) when investigating

-Opens up bear traps when seeing they're closed

-Still haven't fixed the Neighbor Blair Witch bug. Sorry

Gameplay Changes:

-Item Bobbing and Movement Bobbing changed to feel better. May be a little broken, tell me any bugs with them...

-Hide Here dream between Intro and Prototype House

-Prototype House extended to 4 floors

-DevGAMM Bonus Level added, collect 10 INTEL to win!

-Main Menu revamped

Decor Changes:

-Evening lighting changed to be MUCH more prototype accurate

-I have finally discovered the source of the FPS kill, and it's the shadows! But I can't really do much to fix that. Crap. Uh...

-Global lighting gets much darker when in Neighbor's house

-Better foliage on all maps

-Sound changes to better fit things/make more accurate to prototype

-Glass material made better

And more!

Have fun. Report any bugs to me, please! Except for the AI getting stuck at random points... don't report that, I know already.

Next up

It's almost finished! Only really just extra features are left... I could technically release it right now. Don't worry, the extra features won't take long.

Intro revamp!

I'm cooking things up for V1.2!

Here's a bonus level goodie for you all. (You'll be able to play this with the main menu revamp!)

More changes down below.

More little details and such are being added for v1.3. After more of that stuff, more gamemodes will be added! 2 are already finished.

And V1.1 is already out!

Very minor changes made after extended playtesting of the final build. These include:

-The Neighbor catching you if you try to hide in a closet while he's chasing you

-New tutorial feature and intro

-Throwing bug fix

-and more!

The house rework is done! Yahoo!

There's still a few other game-breaking bugs and funny little additions to add, though. Please be patient!

After watching Zorgo's playthrough, I found some bugs I didn't even think of,,,

Time for some house renovation!

The 2-floor prototype house modeled with UE4 brushes in Act 1 will be turned into a 4-floor house with an actual model. So far, it's been a pretty fun learning experience!

v1.2 will be a very big patch.
