Baddies: Reloaded

Wassup guys, big news... sorta. We're in playtesting mode, and you know what that means — the build is almost done!

Below are some updates and development progress pinpoints from me. For those interested in seeing the progress for the game, take a look!


PLAYTESTING


Yup, we're in that era now. Things are fully "playable" but of course not everything I need to be in there isn't in there yet. Those small stuff matters to help it stand out so I can't just ship out as is, I'd die. But lemme tell you the stuff I'm working on and the roadmap for the playtesting process:

  • the new shop is pretty much stable but there is a few hiccups in the code that I need to add to it to make it run better — mainly in the way Carlita speaks if you spam and stuff. Plus, I gotta add a little easter egg to it if you play on a Friday.

  • some songs needs touching up, no doubt. Intervention needs some more heavy editing and is probably the most complex song in the week... actually I don't know there's a lot of complex songs in this week, with Stephanie, I'd say Drift was pretty complex. So imagine like 3 of those in this week. Yeeuupp...

  • the animation for Week 2's introduction needs to get worked on so I'm leaving that for last. In my head, in-game stuff and coding needs to come first, then pretty stuff afterwards.

  • updating the changelog, because there is one for you guys to see what exactly was changed. Maybe there's a plushie update tab as well, I wouldn't know anything about that.

  • currently working on the last addition to the week, one of my favorites so far. Haven't exactly put it in the game as of yet but from the screenshots you can get a glimpse of what I'm working on. I'm on the animation aspect but I would love to hear speculations on the lore of this would be.

  • there's more things but that's the main things I wanted to get out. Other things are potential bugs that people ran into last week, i don't want another cycle to happen lol


WHEN'S THE RELEASE MONKEY??

woahhh woahh, I'd say we're pretty much close but I don't know how long it would be exactly to get all the bugs squashed and the animation done. I wanna say this month but of course, it'll be done when it's done. All i know is that it CANNOT possibly take more than two months. I'm pretty much finished after all. If you want a date just to feel satisfied and good knowing it might not happen on said day then: Jan 32nd, 2026.

Hello everyone, Cassy here. I just wanted to give a small announcement about the game. So we're coming close to the end of development for WEEK 1. I wanted to say we're aiming for the next 2-3 weeks but I am not exactly that confident. Just a heads up

Hello to the 12 people still interested.

Below I have a bit of an update on the whole development situation, maybee you'd might find it useful to know what's really going on and why things are so slow and such.

we made the first test build for the game. a shit ton of bugs and stuff, but gameplay wise, gucci. i still need to finish the cutscenes (last two images) and fix the game's main engine and we're good to ship this off.

had a rough time personally, so i decided to take a break from main story stuff and work on the gameshow.
