Weekly Update #13

Oh boy, I’m on a metered connection and Windows 10 is coming. This is gonna be a problem. Anyway, time for the weekly update.

eManual:

As the release of version D0.10 comes close, A new document will be added which I dubbed “eManual”. This will have all the necesssary information as well as Character Profiles, Cheats and more. It will also have some additional features, such as searching with keywords. Hopefully this will be useful to you.

Battle System Tweaks:

I went into “mad scientist mode” and start tweaking the battle system. First, shields can now block some of the damage taken (though by chance). Second, if any of the party members reach critical health (15% of their Max HP) they’ll reach their critical point. As long as they stay on that, they’ll receive less damage. But do get them healed ASAP.

Disc 1 Content:

The portion of story that will be shown on Disc 1 is almost complete. Hopefully I’ll release it (with extra content) in 2015.

Windows 10 Compatibility?

It will have it. I’ll have to wait for my tools to be updated to support the new version of Windows.

That is all for now. See ya on the next post.

Wrote a tool that installs the game's dependencies. That means Northbridge will always use the latest version of the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.

Jump List returns in the next update.

Implementing Armor Corrosion. This put quite a dent in the target's armor for a short time.

Enjoy a nice dish, get a nice buff. What's not to like?

A bit of an old but goodie coming back: Quick Load! In an upcoming update, you can jump back to where you left off with a push of a button.

It's pretty early, but here's a look at a mob manager, handling the enemies in the game. The code streamlines the programming of the enemies. Hopefully, I can expand it to more useful ways.

Something something... Stuff that I worked on.

Overhauls on the way.

Done some improvements to the backup system. Even added an icon to let you know that it's working.

Added the option to rebuild the cache. This will clear the cache and then decompress the files from the packages.
