1. Accessibility Themes!
Think the standard JadeShop is too bright for your eyes, whether at night or all the time? Now try our officially launched “Dark JadeShop Theme”!
We’ve also created a theme that heavily modifies the visuals of the application, making everything fade with fully interwoven five second transitions between screen changes, and replacing all the bright coloured, flashing background sprites with the black ones from dark mode.
We hope that this heavily researched and scrutinized, special mode, featuring a complete lack of constant flashing and or transitionless colour changing will help to drastically reduce the possibility of seizures occurring in people with Photosensitive Epilepsy. It also helps that we’ve disabled all visual animations when the app boots up, and the screen shall not change its appearance at all until a theme is selected.
And yes, we did include our own, fully narrated, specialized brand of disclaimer to let people know that no attempt to prevent seizures is a hundred percent perfect.
2. Theme Profile Switching!
Jading with friends, each with different theme preferences? Well, thanks to the new “ME” Mode, whichever one of you is using the main “JadeShop™” app at any given time can just activate said feature using “The Legendary Toggle Hub™”, and then switch to your desired theme while you browse. Just please be nice to your friends, and be sure to give them a chance to play with their own theme when their turns arise.
Please be considerate of others. If someone has a disability that makes it hard or dangerous for them to see the screen when in an incompatible theme, only use a theme that is most appropriate for said individual, and do not swap amongst each other’s display preferences until slash unless it is absolutely certain that the person with the former needs is fully out of the vicinity at hand. Thank you.
3. Faster Loading Times!
Now, the app will say “¡WELCOME!”, almost as soon as you pick or switch to a theme! Well, with the exception of the Epilepsy Optimized one, for obvious reasons.
Please enjoy, and as always, “Happy Jading!™”
