Heya y'all. It's been a while, huh? Long story short: real life got in the way. I've been focusing on other stuff for a little while now and, while I haven't completely stopped working on BatSS, development has considerably slowed.
I'm about to graduate college, and will be looking for a job. Depending on where I end up working, it's possible that I won't legally be able to work on personal projects. In that case, BatSS will go into hiatus. I'd like to get out another build before that happens, but realistically, I can't make any promises.
If I end up working somewhere where I can still work on BatSS, I plan to continue working on it, hopefully at a faster pace than this last year has been.
On the bright side, the months of radio silence haven't been completely fruitless. I have gotten a few new features in and refined a few systems. If I am able to continue working on the game, I'm feeling hopeful about its future.
